My name is Johanna (goofy looking doll in white in the front), and I'm a slight doll fanatic.

Luckily eBay showed me the light that there are many more adults out there that collect dolls of all kinds. Now I'm regularly on Doll boards for both 12" and 16" dolls, and was even featured in FDQ's 2007 Fall issue in the "Gotta Have It" page.  For me that's quite an accomplishment since I had only learned to sew and started creating doll beds a few months before that in May 2007.  I'm overjoyed by the doll community's positive response to my work and I love chatting with people world wide that share my enthusiasm for Fashion Dolls.

I've had many career paths (teaching, sales, database design) but always in my spare time I've been a writer most of my life, having written short stories, poems (a couple published), 2 novels and 8+ movie scripts (mostly sci-fi...and very unpublished), I decided against pursuing a career in the Hollywood movie industry after moving down to Southern California and getting a peak at the rock 'n' roll lifestyle.

This is the first creative venture that I've ever marketed and sold, but mostly I've been able to share any doll related stories, photos and ideas with lots of other people, and get their feedback. It's positively wonderful!  I have a much slower paced, family oriented lifestyle now, working with databases by day, visit with my huge family and create doll stuff on nights and weekends.

2. Favorite Movies - Anything Science Fiction: Star Wars Geek (like Star Trek stuff too), Foreign flicks from all countries (huge martial arts fan). Comedies (slap stick of any kind always makes me laugh), Older movies from 1920's-1970's are great too. 

3. Favorite TV Shows - Right now, Battlestar Galactica on Sci-fi channel, Nip/Tuck was for a while, Pushing Daisies, Lipstick Jungle (Not as good as Sex In The City...but it's fun), New Amsterdam is a new favorite, All things Law & Order, How I Met Your Mother, America's Next Top Model....Guilty Pleasure, I never miss an episode so I made a dolly version to have more fun with it.
